Lines & Shapes
1. In this photo I am in a large glass window on the 3rd floor of the Providence Place Mall. I took a picture focusing on the city skyline.
2. I was close to the window almost flush to it to give a sense of depth in the city
3. My point of view was straight on in this photo.
4. The photo was taken horizontally.
5. No, I did not take the rule of thirds in taking this picture
6. For my picture, I believe the flow of the river into the city will catch the viewer's eye and follow it into the city skyline.

In my opinion, my favorite picture is the one of the horizontal turf. The straight lines that guide your eye throughout the photo with the texture of the trees in the skyline as well as the bright white of the yard markers and numbers.
What is the distance in the shot?I am about 10 feet away from the sideline and my point of view and I was in a first person horizontal view. This photo does follow the rule of thirds as there are portions that fit in each third. Pattern and texture is also present as there are specific patterns on the landscape and a rough appeal to the turf.
